I decided to change the name of my blog from Fides et Familia to Caveat Emptor. I have been posting more 'frugal minded' information than family related, so I thought it was appropriate.
Caveat Emptor is Latin, and means 'buyer beware'...it is typically a legal term, but I think it can be used in an everyday sense...be aware of what you are spending! Be a vigilant consumer, spend wisely!
I contemplated using 'Caveat Venditor', which means 'seller beware', but I don't think retailers should fear frugal people...I did think it would be a very humorous blog name, though...
