Peanut Butter-Yogurt Dip, and a little produce shopping

I'm planning to make this dip today...bought some apples at a produce stand yesterday because I've been craving peanut butter & apple.  The problem with that is I eat way too much peanut butter when I have that snack.  So, I thought I'd give this dip a try:
Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit Dip:
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
2 T peanut butter
some people add a bit of honey and cinnamon, but I think I'll leave those out...I will use my homemade plain yogurt!

By the way, I paid way too much for apples...$1.99/lb..whoa!  It was from a produce stand near my house, local grown, huge fruit, but pricey!  Hope they're good!

I also made a surprising find yesterday.  I rarely go into Sav-a-lot, but I needed some baking potatoes, and the store is near me.  We ran in to get potatoes and check prices on other produce.  We got 10# potatoes for 2.99, plums for 0.79/#, Roma tomatoes for 0.99/#, and a locally grown watermelon for 3.99....and surprise, surprise!  That watermelon was one of the best I've ever tasted!  Who would have thought sav-a-lot for watermelon!

And, what did I do with those tomatoes(delicious, by the way!)?  I sliced my homemade oat whey bread, sprayed it with olive oil, and toasted in the oven.  While the bread toasted, I diced the tomatoes, and added garlic and basil and oregano.  After flipping the bread over, I spread cream cheese on it, and added a couple spoonfuls of the tomato mix on top, and let that broil a minute to crisp the bread and soften the tomatoes more....yum!  I'm not sure if you are supposed to broil your toppings on bruschetta, but I did, and it was a big hit at our house last night!
