Spinach Burgers

Here's a great way to get some more veggies into your diet!  Love burgers?  Sure, the hubby and kids love grilled burgers!  I stumbled across a recipe which added spinach and feta to a turkey burger, and thought it would probably work in beef as well.  Simply, I took 1 lb of ground beef in a large bowl, added some sage and thyme, some olive oil, some spinach from our garden(I steamed it for a few in the microwave, but you could use drained frozen or canned), a little worcestershire, and mixed everything together.  I placed the mixture in the fridge for about an hour to allow the flavors to come together, then formed patties as usual, and fired up the grill.  We used our normal burger condiments...you really can't tell the difference in taste.  Yes, you see the spinach, but you can't taste it.  The burgers were very juicy and filling, and we all got extra veggies without the fuss!  Try it in your house!
