Day 1

Today is day 1 of the latest (and greatest?) 8 wk challenge presented by MamaNotes http://www.mamanotes.com/2009/09/body-after-baby-week-one.html and the Body after Baby serieshttp://bodyafterbaby.ning.com/...all the points and stats and photos are to be presented at the end of the challenge, so I'll keep my starting info a secret for now. Maybe I'll get brave and post a photo, but don't hold your breath... In preparation for sweet cravings, I made some sugar-free jello, and set out some whipped topping...sounds yummy already! I managed to rid the house of all the Starbucks ice cream this past week, so I'm all set(and tired of ice cream now!). I lost 10 pounds on the last 8 wk challenge, even without exercising or being strict on food, so I hope to accomplish as much or more this time around. There IS a gift card or 2 up for grabs to the winner, so maybe it'll keep me going! So, shout out to all the other ladies doing this challenge with me: we can do this, girls!

Good thinking to plan ahead...I have been trying to do the same thing. I think that my cravings and hunger get the best of me and I make rash and bad decisions, so planning ahead is key!

Definitely a good call to plan ahead like that. I wish I did! lol I always tend to snack when I am bored or, well, feel lazy. :) I'm hoping to kick that! I'm looking forward to tackling this challenge with you and everyone!

I think I am going to make some jello now. I know I have some sugar free jello in my cupboard ... Yay. I have a lot of weight to lose so hopefully this challenge will get me off to a good start!

Sounds like you are on track. Hang in there and enjoy the ride. We can do this and we will feel better for it!
